Ollie Parsons combines his experience as a comedy Writer and Director with his passion for film technique, creating funny and charmingly crafted pieces that centre around strong comedic performances.
His recent series of Specsavers Emmerdale Sponsorship Idents won awards at The Arrows, The Sharks & Creative Circle and had over 5.5million shares on the internet.
He’s also a BAFTA nominated, Royal Television Award winning Director who’s worked on comedy shows for Apple, HBO, FX and the BBC.
Ollie’s written for and directed some of the biggest names in British comedy: Martin Freeman, Jordan Gray, Daisy May Cooper, Guz Khan, Hugh Laurie, Nick Frost, Stephen Merchant, Daisy Haggard, Peter Capaldi, Sally Phillips, Rafe Spall, Rebecca Front, David Hasselhoff and even R2-D2 & C-3PO !!
He’s also worked with lots of famous brands too: Specsavers, Comic Relief, Nissan, Stowford Press, Children in Need, Old El Paso, Hyundai, Indeed, Miro, the BBC and Dave.
Ollie’s recently finished directing the ground breaking comedy Transaction and is in development on a number of comedy feature film and tv projects.
