McDonald's / Kids Can't Get Enough
Sam Huntley is a London born filmmaker whose work encompasses commercials, short films and documentaries. His work illustrates a nuanced photographic style, capturing everyday moments in a natural and evocative way.
Previously featured in the Shots ‘New Directors’ showcase, Sam has directed global campaigns for a diverse range of brands including McDonald’s, HSBC and Vodafone.
His films have been shortlisted at more than 40 international film festivals, winning awards in Melbourne, Cork, Kinsale, Siena, Raindance and the London Short Film Festival amongst others, as well as being broadcast by numerous national networks including the BBC and Channel 4.
Sam’s long form documentary ‘Zoomer’ - an intimate portrait of Mary DeBoutez Zellmer Fenoglio, an eccentric curiosity store owner born and raised in rural Kansas, USA - was featured at the London UK Film Focus at the BFI Southbank. Sam will be revisiting this project in the summer of 2017 whilst also completing another long form documentary, ‘Back of Me Door’, a film about a group of lads in Stockport all dreaming of being professional darts players.
